Bunch of Classics

This is a short page on something about classics. To be more concise, when I mean classics, I mean the books that are considered to be masterpieces and weren't written in the modern era. There are various reasons why a person should read classics: it's time tested, gives an understanding of the past, contains valuable information, and many more. However, I want to place an emphasis on one of the reasons: why the book was written. Of course, there are many reasons why an author would write a book, but the point is that classical books usually have a point in the first place. Due to the nature of the industry in the modern world, books aren't necessarily created with a clear purpose. People are naturally drawn to entertaining books, and even the traditionally "boring" books are pressured into being more interactive with their readers. Classical writers weren't hindered by such demands. Even the books that were created solely to entertain contain values and creates impacts; that's what makes a classic in the first place. However, I have noticed that the written text in the modern age are becoming more homogenous and, for a better word, vain. It's rare nowadays to read a book by a living author and gain a lesson that one would treasure forever. If the complexity and meaning of classics are lost, much of what our world is founded upon will also vanish.
